Reporting

During the project it turned out that various reports are requested by the end-users (the management of the club).

A number of reporting solutions were evaluated, and finally the decision was taken to implement Metabase. Metabase offers a fully functional free tier and a ready to use docker container. Its analytical capabilities include the use of native SQL queries only limited by the facts databases capabilities and a wide range of graphical representations of data collated in dashboards.

Whilst Metabase can be used standalone under a distinct link as part of the website, a special dashboard was implemented for our purposes and linked as an iFrame to the Strapi Admin Panel homepage (which was customized for this purpose).
